About Human Resource Integrated System (HRIS) In PHP
The Admin has full control of the system, all the main functions are to be performed from Admin panel. Here, the admin can manage employees and their details, add, list or view Service credits. He/she can also maintain attendance easily and print their daily reports. Except for these, the admin can maintain personal information which includes family background, educational background, civil service, work experience, voluntary work, training programs, other information, and accounts. Under family information, there are the parent, spouse and child information stored in respective fields that is father and mother name in parent information, name, occupation, employer’s business, address and telephone in the spouse information, name and birthdate in child information.
Just like the above, Educational Background information contains Elementary information, Secondary information, vocational/trade course information, college information, and graduate studies. Each of these categories has its own fields which include graduated year, date, honors, degree course and many more. Civil Service displays Career service/RA 1080 (Board/ BAR) under special laws, rating, date of examination, place, license number, and license date. Likewise, in the Work Experience section, he/she can manage inclusive details, position title, department, salary, the status of the appointment, and government service. The admin can manage Voluntary work and Training program where the user has to provide details such as name & address of the organization, date, number of hours, and position.
Additional Features of this Project
The remaining feature of this system includes User’s other information and account management. From where the admin can manage other information such as skills, non-academic distinctions, and membership in an association. And from Account section, the admin can set new username and passwords. All these features should be managed by the user. For this, a user has to log in with user’s detail. The user can also use all these features, but there are certain restrictions, the user cannot manage employees. This means the user is only allowed to manage their own profile. Human Resource Integrated System in PHP helps in easy management of the human resources. Design of this project is simple so that user won’t find it difficult to understand, use and navigate. How To Run Human Resource Integrated System (HRIS) In PHP ?
To run this project you must have installed virtual server i.e. XAMPP on your PC (for Windows). After Starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps
- Extract file
- Copy the main project folder
- Paste in xampp/htdocs/
Now Connecting Database
- Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
- Then, click on databases tab
- Create database naming “hrms_db” and then click on import tab
- Click on browse file and select “hrms_db.sql” file which is inside “DATABASE” folder
- Click on go.
After Creating Database,
- Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/hris/”
For username and password, refer the “Readme.txt” file.
